Description
The Unix Administrator will need the following relevant skills and experiences;
- Strong UNIX/Solaris/Linux/AIX experience; specifically on Unix systems, in-depth knowledge on Sun Solaris and Linux RedHat, ideally combined with AIX & VIO experience.
- Cluster knowledge and High-Availability Systems design
- System Automation
- Scripting/Development Skills
- Veritas vxfs
- DNS & LDAP
- DR planning, preparation and execution for successful tests
- Quality improvement
- ITIL and process conform
Any relevant certifications are desired, but not required to apply.
The Unix Administrator will need to speak either English, French or German fluently. Further communication skills in a second or third language is desirable but not required to apply.
This opportunity will be based 100% on site (no remote access) and the Unix Administrator will need to be on-call standby (one week every 4-5 weeks).
