VMware Infrastructure Architect/Developer

Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a VMware Architect/Developer for our client in Belgium.

Requirement:
- 7 - 9 Years IT Experience
- 2-3 Years VMware vRealize Automation and Orchestration
- Experienced with Operating Systems (Mac, Linux, Unix, MVS, Solaris)
- Experienced with Virtualization (VMWare, Microsoft)
- Proven record of working on VMware vRealize Automation projects
- The individual will have in-depth knowledge and experience in developing VMware vCloud/vRealize (vCO/vRO, vCAC/vRA) workflows, writing programs and scripts using JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, BASH and other Scripting and programming languages.
- Responsible for developing, building and testing of on premise cloud automation capabilities
- In addition, the engineer should have experience in integrations using ServiceNow, VMware's vCloud suite and monitoring tools like Netcool.
- The individual should have a very good understanding of how to automate build processes using Chef.
- Further, the individual should have experience working in a continuous integration environment and used tools like Git/Stash and Jenkins.
- Experience in test-driven development and/or behavior driven development is preferred.
- The Orchestration Engineer will interface with product architects, operations leads/engineers and product owners to develop product features and functionalities.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills are needed as a contributing member of a DEV/OPS team.
- Project experience which includes Requirement Analysis, Coding, Testing, UAT and support
- Very good experience in Project execution using agile development methodology (Scrum) and SDLC process documentation.
- Should have knowledge of application deployments and release cycles.
- Candidate should be prepared to work extended hours specifically for giving hyper support after production release.
- Very good verbal, written English communication skills and should be able to effectively manage customer interactions to achieve a positive outcome.
- Effective time management, team handling and organizational skills.
