I am looking to recruit an experienced, self-motivated and fast learning Software Engineer with excellent programming skills. Experienced with C# .NET Development, you will be joining one of the largest wholesale and investment banks in the Netherlands.
The successful candidate will be working together with a senior software engineer in the RAD (Rapid Application Development) team to develop an application for financial reporting and dividing of profit-and-loss. Specific to this application are the underlying complex calculations and usage of big data.
The development of an application is usually done by a single developer, including the complete development cycle with status updates, expectation management to our stakeholders, demos, testing and implementation.
To present all this information in a user-friendly way, we expect that you are very knowledgeable with MVC and AJAX, and have great interest in optimizing performance of applications.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
- Multiple (5+) years of C# development experience
- Technology musts: Entity Framework, MySQL, XML, C#, WebForms, MVC, AJAX, IOC
- Technology preferred: SpecFlow, Docker
- Experience in implementing software design & patterns
- Experience within an Agile environment is a definite advantage
- A keen eye on quality/testing
- Good understanding of banking products and experience within the financial sector is preferred
