Skills and Experience:
- University degree with minimum 3 years' experience in System Administration OR no university degree with minimum 5 years' experience in System Administration
- Good experience in administration of the above mentioned support activities and tasks
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures
- Linux administration, optimization and troubleshooting is beneficial
- Knowledge of server and storage hardware
- Good knowledge of operating systems
- Knowledge of server applications
- Good knowledge of Scripting
- Good troubleshooting skills
Description of work:
- Server administration
- Application installation and integration on production systems
- Database administration
- SAN administration
- Incident analysis and resolution in cooperation with the application developers and the Front Office administrator
- Documentation review
- Automating administration tasks
- Maintaining and enhancing security
- Active Directory administration
- Linux administration, optimization and troubleshooting is a big bonus
- Monitoring, backup/restore and disaster recovery
- Messaging administration
- Web services administration
- Setup and maintenance of procedures and of documentation
- Hardware problem resolution in cooperation with 3rd parties
- Standby support
