You will one of the core C++ developers responsible for implementing, testing and documenting key software products. The main aim of this project will be to build the application logic and user interfaces of next generation software. Our software typically connects to cameras and other peripherals like translation stages and conveyor belts. The software will enable the acquisition and processing of sensor data and use it to evaluate and test our sensors.
You will be part of a fantastic team working on game changing technology; electronic engineers, applications experts, physicists and optics designers. The software you develop will support companies in the field of medical, automotive, industrial machine visions and remote sensing. IT will strongly impact your customer and direct feedback and appreciation for your hard work will always be given!
The Role
- Implement the application logic and GUI
- Perform software tests
- Work alongside senior engineers extending and improving the software offering
- Contribute to hyperspectral imaging SDK
- Create professional user manuals and documentation
- Generate ideas and take initiative
You
- A graduate ideally with a master's degree in informatics of equivalent
- 2 years + of relevance experience ideally in optics, sensors or photonics.
- Understand Object Orientated programming
- Excellent C++ skills
- Know the basics of Qt and the boost libraries. MSVC is a plus
- Have an interest in computer vision
- Customer orientated
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Fluent in ENGLISH. French, German or Dutch is a plus!
This is a lucrative contract initially 6 months with an indefinite chance of extension if you are the right candidate.
Paying up to 440/ DAY (negotiable based upon experience)
