Full Stack Developer - Java/CSS/HTML/Javascript - Bank
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Full Stack Developer for a project with a leading bank in Oslo, Norway.
For a Nordic banking programme, our client is looking for a T-Shaped, fullstack web developer that will be part of a Scrum Team located in Oslo.
Our client is in the process of transitioning to a new technology stack for creating a new Nordic collateral Front End web solution.
There are many things they need help with in this transition phase. They are therefore looking for someone who can help them with - and even drive the following tasks:
- UI/Frontend programming (Javascript based)
- Backend/Service integration programming (Java based/RESTful microservice architecture)
- Setting up new continuous deployment builds, test automations, and overall CD strategies
- Setting up new infrastructure (overall strategy and infrastructure, connectivity, security, resiliency, etc.)
- Overall contribute in setting up the new technology stack, code and technical standard specially the Front End part.
In general, the team is responsible for feature development, functional testing, helping form the requirement, delivery and deployment of the solutions.
The technical requirements are:
Need to have/must have skills:
- Advanced/Expert Experience with React and Redux
- Experience with Java and Java enterprise programming
- Experience with at least 1 CSS Technologies (SASS/SCSS, LESS)
- Advanced Experience with RESTful style microservice architecture
- Experience with HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript ES6
- Experience with creation and consumption of web services (both SOAP-based and RESTful)
- Experience with GIT, Stash/BitBucket
Highly preferred/should have skills:
- Advanced experience with known JS frameworks, libraries, tools (Node.js, npm, webpack ++)
- Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Security
- Experience with Material Design based CSS frameworks
- Experience with Selenium and creating test automation
- Experience with modern UX web principles and techniques
- Experience with Bamboo
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience with Weblogic, Tomcat, Jetty
- Experience and knowledge in UML
- Experience with Agile Software Development
Bonus/could have skills:
- Experience with at least 1 Java based web development framework (Vaadin, JSF, Grails, Spring MVC, Play)
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Gradle
- Experience with AppDynamics
- Experience with Chef
- Experience with Puppet
- Experience with prototyping/wireframing tools (Balsamiq)
