My Client is looking for a EDW Developer to be based Dublin.
They are looking for someone with the following:
- A deep understanding of software engineering concepts and objectives.
- Deep knowledge of Teradata developer toolset and standards including BTEQ, Teradata SQL assistant, Multi Load Fast Load and Fast Export.
- Knowledge of data-centric systems and domains.
- Applied knowledge of structured SDLC and Agile methodologies & best practices
- An understanding of data quality, management, modelling and consumption techniques.
- Knowledge of improving performance of code.
- Relevant compliance and regulatory legislation.
- Over 5 years of experience in delivering data change initiatives with extensive experience in supporting the data life cycle; from acquisition to building an integrated data layer and embedding in production processes for end user analysis.
- Banking industry sector experience.
- Experience of working as a dedicated data warehouse developer using Teradata on data-specific programmes.
- Experience of working on full-life cycle SDLC and Agile projects as a valued member of the team.
- Experience of providing creative resolution of client needs.
- Experience in writing test scripts and executing tests.
- Experience in writing functional specifications will be a distinct advantage.
