UNIX Administrator, UNIX, DC Operations, Prague
My client, a global communications company URGENTLY require a Czech speaking UNIX Administrator to work in the 24 x 7 Data Centre Operations support team based in Prague, Czech Republic. The UNIX Administrator will work as part of a talented team supporting:
- Oracle Servers and Solaris OS
- HP Linux Servers and RedHat OS
- Tape library SL8500
- Disk arrays - EMC
- SAN
- Backup solution - NetBackup
- Virtualized Servers in VMware
- Sun clustering
The UNIX Administrator will also be responsible for:
- Supporting migrations to the new Servers and disk arrays
- Data centre management - including physical presence in DC, hardware maintenance - Customer replacement unit, escorting of vendors. He/she needs to have car driver license.
- Installation of new Servers
- Local user access management
The is an URGENT 4 month contract requirement starting 1st Dec 2016.
