Our Electronics client, a world leader in developing SoCs for the Automotive market is seeking a Software Engineer or possibly a Field applications engineer to act on behalf of them on customer site (a specialist developer of Driver Assistance systems) in Ireland.
Tasks: Assisting and providing hands-on support to the customer with the client product, acting as interface between both parties and facilitating solutions to technical issues which may arise. Job content is wide range so your background should be in SoCs, mobile phone processors, bare metal programming, C/C++ development. You should be very flexible, open minded and be able to operate independently and also as part of a team. Any Graphics experience with OpenGL ES is beneficial. Previous experience working as a Resident Engineer would be very useful.
Travel to Germany will be required on a monthly basis (and possibly for whole of first month)
