Description
For a client in Luxembourg we are looking for an IT Application Analyst with the following skills:
1. VB6, VB.NET), TSQL, ASP.NET, Windows server , and SQL Server , Crystal Reporting
2. Fluency in English and German
3. Able to work in a 24x7 environment and provide off-hours support duty on a rotational basis
4. Able to appropriately prioritize tasks to meet critical business needs
5. Provide time tracking weekly and details on demand to supervisor/manager
6. Capable of working both independently and with teams to resolve issues as quickly as possible
7. Self-starter that will look to improve system reliability and prevent future issues
8. Good oral and written communication skills including technical documentation and requirements
9. Experience in creating windows server applications, GUI design, multi-tier architecture, and Object Oriented programming principles and methodologies.
10. Experience in supporting an industrial and/or manufacturing environment
11. Ability to work On-site at the Luxembourg facility
Preferred skills & experience:
Manufacturing floor shop experience/MES experience
OPC/Control Systems Communications
SAP and/or interfacing other applications with SAP
LIMS and lab instrument controls and interfacing
Basic project management skills
Working in/for a manufacturing environment
Job description:
Customer is world-class science and engineering company which brought innovation in agriculture, nutrition, electronics & communications, safety & production, home & construction, transportation and apparel global.
This position will provide primary support and minor development for a Shop Floor application and interfaces to/from other systems that support a 24x7 manufacturing environment. The Shop Floor application (or Manufacturing Execution System - MES) collects and tracks product, process, and quality information through the multi-step manufacturing process. This application also has interfaces with other manufacturing, process control, and business computer systems. There are multiple technologies involved in our MES systems environment, which include multiple interfacing methods.
Language requirements: Fluency in both English and German a must.
