On behalf of one of my clients, I am currently seeking an experienced Sensor Systems Engineer to work with a client of mine as follows:
Rate: Circa 510SEK per hour (circa £45ph)
Location: Lund, Sweden
Duration: 6 months initially

Job description
I am looking for an expert in sensor systems for industrial applications and products. The work entails design and analysis of various prototypes together with a smaller team of experts where the other members know the product domain but have limited expertise of sensors and their applications. Sensors will collect data and send it on to a cloud solution system where information is to be presented in different ways. The consultant must be a self-starter with an ability to take initiative. You will ideally be experienced in working with innovative solutions and leading-edge technologies. A feasibility study is about to start. You are expected to be able to work abroad during a period of time in the project.
Required competence
* Strong industry experience developing sensor systems - experience with the following is a merit: algorithm development, Embedded systems, inertial sensors, computer vision, image processing, optical sensors
* Strong experience in systems engineering, system design and system analysis, systems architecture, algorithm development
* Strong experience in product development, including developing prototypes and products for high volume manufacturing.
* Excellent communicating skills in English, both written and spoken.
