Location: Morristown, NJ
Duration: 10months + with high chances of extension
Rate: $Open/hr
Rave ODM Expert
- Business Services is responsible for the supporting processes for the commercial, administrative and scientific areas of the company.
- As integral part of the Group, Business Services significantly contributes to turn the Life Science strategy into execution. The portfolio ranges from developing and operating systems solutions to the design and operation of end-to-end business processes, augmented by management consulting.
Duties and responsibilities
- Change Request tracking - internal and Medidata generated tracking - setting up a more robust change/life cycle management process
- Vendor interaction ( monitoring and communication of upcoming releases, patches)
- Weekly Medidata calls (open issues/activities)
- Provide support service within the guidelines defined by the Technical Lead/Service Owner
- Ensure working relationship and close coordination with offshore/outsourced personnel, support staff, and other stakeholders
Qualifications
The selected candidate is required to possess the following:
- B.S. Biological Sciences, Computer Sciences or related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years experience with RAVE or other electronic data capture systems in the Pharmaceutical industry
- SQL Server, PL/SQL, ODM, Web Services, Java
- Experience and Strong knowledge of EDC systems - Primarily Medidata's Rave
- Excellent understanding of integration between interfaces both inbound/outbound
- Technical Background in SQL Server, PL/SQL, ODM, Web services, Java
- Business knowledge of Clinical Data Management
- RAVE administration certification not required but appreciated
- understanding of RAVE data and security model, eCRF
- Background knowledge and practical experience with SaasS/PaaS
- General information systems experience (understand implementation of new system, changing existing systems, ITIL, Incident, Problem, Change Management, (RAVE) system/application administration (planning, communication)
- GxP experience preferred
- Scientific/business degree preferred (IT, MIS, Mathematics)
- PL/SQL and Web Services experience
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player and be conscientious and dependable.
- Must be able to work independently and adhere to timelines.
