ITIL Service Desk Support Analyst - Brussels, Belgium

Languages: English and French

Skills and Experience:

  • Service and proactive minded.
  • An ITIL V3 foundation certification is required.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
  • Very good spoken and written knowledge of English and French.
  • Punctual, meticulous and reliable.
  • Self-Starter; must be productive with minimal directions.
  • Experience with SMT is required.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required (especially Word and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to identify dysfunction, propose and implement solutions.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills - being able to manage priorities.
  • Ability to transform concepts into effective delivery.
  • Strong communication and educational skills.

Description of work:

  • The Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible to initiate and coordinate all tasks that are under Continuous Improvement Team responsibilities, such as training, quality controls, internal communication, knowledge management, complaints management.
  • His/her primary role is to maintain a constant focus on the selected and approved initiatives to effectively address and solve quality issues identified within the customer service.
  • Give induction training to newcomers and in-service training.
  • Train and coach the service desk teams when needed.
  • Keep any user manuals, FAQ, wikis and information dashboards up-to-date by documenting all relevant information.
  • Manage and maintain processes, technical guidelines used within the European Commission, documentation and training materials.
  • Analyze and answer to all complaints and feedback sent by the end-users or the client to the CI Team.
  • Provide alternatives, support and suggestions to the CI team.
  • Perform on a regular basis quality checks on SMT tickets and phone conversations.
