NLP Engineer - Machine Learning - NLP - Java - Python - OpenNLP - CoreNLP
Our client, a globally recognised technological product based company, are seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to join their team in Boston. You will be responsible for developing the natural language understanding (NLU) algorithms whilst applying practical experience with syntactic and semantic parsing in order to implement solutions for challenging problems.
Requirements:
- MS or Ph.D. in computer science
- Proven expertise (5+ years) in the fundamentals of statistical (Machine Learning-based) and rule-based Natural Language Processing techniques
- Strong programming background (5+ years) with at least two of the following: Java, Python, C, C++
- Previous experience (2-3 years) using open source NLP toolkits such as Apache OpenNLP, Stanford's CoreNLP, NLTK, and Apache UIMA
