Software Developer (Java)We are currently recruiting for our client, a global ICT services and solutions provider for enterprise, for a Software Developer (Java) to join their business in Weybridge.
Position Title: Software Developer (Java)
Position Type: 11 month fixed term contract

Responsibilities:
- Develop, support and maintain internal and external business support applications including major service module & document I/F monitoring, and also design and develop ETL solution
- Responsible for the day-to-day support and coordinate users with operation / development team of existing applications
- Responsible for computer system internals and database
- Object Orientated Design and Development
- Responsible for service desk requests
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of experience in Java/J2EE development, and familiarity with Java related technologies
- Advanced Database skills (MS SQL Server, Oracle) and experience with Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic WAS is preferred
- Advanced front end development skills (HTML, XML, Javascript, CSS) and experience in SOAP & REST based services is desirable
- Previous experience with any ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) model application development
- Document I/F level management experience with large volume of channels & EDI documents (FTP, Web Service etc.)
