Market Development Lead-C2C Innovation - 6-12 month contract - Richmond - £350 a day

Location: Richmond, London, UK
Department: C2C
Reports to: Innovation & Operations Lead

A globally recognised prestigious brand is urgently recruiting for a C2C innovation Market Development Lead in Richmond.

Consumer to consumer buying and selling is how the client began and remains core to the business today. The C2C Innovation team is a newly formed and exciting team which operates under the principles of a start-up and develops new business models and solutions for the UK and other markets.

The Market Development Lead will work with our Innovation team primarily to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and training programmes in order to support the penetration and the growth of our the client programme and/or other programmes in the UK.

Responsibilities

Market Development for C2C Innovation Programmes
*Develop a go-to-market and penetration strategy for client programmes
*Develop on-boarding and training programmes based on the users' life cycle
*Test the strategies in the market before full roll-out
*Work with internal teams and external agencies/partners to execute the strategies
*Manage the Market Development budget
*Be the voice of the customer
*Manage the Internal Customer Service teams for the C2C Innovation Programmes
*Manage an out-bound call centre for Marketing, Research and/or Training purposes
*Work with the Product Lead and the Marketing Lead to deliver against targets

Stakeholder and People management
*Effectively manage stakeholders and work closely with other internal teams globally dispersed
*Present to internal teams and get buy in on plans
*Effectively manage external partners and ensure they are accountable against their SLAs and deliverables

Essential Experience and Skills

*Experience in an entrepreneurial target oriented environment with tight deadlines
*Have worked in Sales and/or Training for Sales teams (5+ years of experience)
*Have managed people indirectly and in an environment where influence is key
*Have managed budgets and has a track record of delivering results against ambitious targets
*Excellent Planning and Project management skills
*Ability to learn, ramp up quickly and think creatively
*Flexibility to adapt to changing and unexpected situations
*Great stakeholder management skills
*Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
*Excellent business acumen and sense

Nice to have Experience/Skills

*Have managed customer service teams
*Have worked in an E-commerce and/or digital business (ideally a marketplace)
*Project Management qualification
*MBA and/or other business related degree or qualification

Other Requirements

*Fluent English speaker
*Highly mobile, computer and Internet literate
*Can manage change
