Your tasks:
- Perform an assessment of customer's Active Directory
- Investigate and solve AD events in error state
- Implement AD monitoring using customer monitoring tools
- Review customer monitoring tool for Windows Servers
- Customize customer application for the RDS environments
- Upgrade to Active Directory and 2012 R2
- Implement a method to consolidate Windows server event logs
- Hardening and documentation in the Windows Servers 2012 R2 environment
- Investigate and eventually introduce Windows Server 2016 in customer consolidated environment
- Act as third level support for the operations team in charge of the WSUS patching system
Your qualifications
- Experience in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
- Know-how regarding GPO creation for users and server environments
- Experience with RDS deployment and administration
- Windows Server 2012 R2 administration and security hardening knowledge
- Working experience with Windows Servers hosted in VMware vSphere 5.5 or 6.0
- Ability to promote best practices, advise on improvements, independently perform research, and apply information from a broad range of sources
