NK143: Financial Risk & Compliance business consultant, Banking, Brussels
Background
You will be joining the Financial Division and be part of the department in charge of Architecture, Support & Transformation In this team we provide functional support to the finance division on the operational & reporting activities, we provide project management and business analysis for projects impacting finance tools and/or processes, and we provide architecture support and best practices.
Role involves:
Your role will be to support the tools & processes for accounting consolidation, financial risk management & compliance (tools: OneSumX, RegPro for Poland):
- Support all operational & reporting activities (support to finance & risk divisions)
- Business analysis for change requests and projects
- Take the role of project lead in case required (eg IFRS9, IFRS16)
- Follow up the tool & processes evolution, both internally (new products & services) and externally (regulation & application evolution)
- You will be the bridge between IT and end users
Your Profile
* You have excellent hands-on functional knowledge in Financial Studio (now OneSumX) - data model & functionalities
* You are familiar with EU financial regulation (corep, finrep)
* You have experience as business analyst and/or project manager in financial risk management & compliance projects in Belgian Banks
* You have experience as business analyst
* You are able to work under pressure and can cope with strict deadlines, you have a hands on approach
* You have excellent analysis skills (analytical, synthetical and critical mindset)
* You are able to successfully prioritize tasks and coordinate several priorities at once
* You are a proactive team player
* You have strong interpersonal skills - ability to listen to the users and explain them complex things in a clear and easy manner
* You are fluent in written and oral English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch would be an asset
