Cloud Service Architect
A Cloud Service Architect is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative project with a major tech client in Shenzhen, China.
The Cloud Service Architect will have hands on experience in helping companies to turn traditional IT functions into services - eg helping an enterprise creating an 'AWS' internally to provide IT service to support business.
The aims of this project are to:
- Complete the IT service planning (define the services that the IT operation will require)
- Design the IT services identified (formulate the high-level design of the services)
- Define the API required and the web console design
- Deliver detailed design for "Access & Identity Services" and "Monitoring Services"
The Cloud Service Architect will have experience in the following areas: Strategic Consulting: Understanding the cutting-edge service transformation in IT operations. Can lead executive discussion with clients on the service definition, and the relationship of each service with the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS layers. In-house experiences in AWS/Salesforce/MS IT operations are strongly preferred (or any other firm that transformed its IT operation into services) Technology Consulting: Familiar with the IT service (eg IAM, Apollo services of AWS) in cloud environment. Can design technical architecture with in-depth understanding on API/tools/web console/coding that enable the service design to be successful. Experiences as a domain owner of "access and identity" or "monitoring" IT Ops modules in 'cloudized' environment is strongly preferred.
The Cloud Service Architect will IDEALLY have experience in the following areas:
- In-house experience in AWS/Google GCP/Aliyun/Microsoft Azure.
- IaaS/PaaS configuration
- Cloud Business Operating Models
- Cloud Business Strategy and Transformation
- Cloud Deployment Models
- Product Development, Marketing and Management
- Fluent English, Mandarin Chinese is 'nice to have'.
This is a 6-month rolling contract with strong likelihood of extension, the requirement is urgent and interviews are scheduled for next week.
