Cobol Developer Dublin contract 3-4 Months.
My client a leading global name in their space is in need of an experienced Cobol Developer to join them on a contract basis.
This role will be working on my clients customer site in a ongoing project. My client is looking for both a mid level and a Senior Developer. They will expect that you will have a good understanding of the design & build phase of the project life cycle. Candidates will have experience Coding new developments and/or enhancements as defined in a technical design.
You will adhere to code quality and unit test testing standards. You will also identify and implement integration tests, automating tests where appropriate. You will ensure code is peer reviewed. You will Provide system test support when code is migrated to System Test (including SIR resolution). You will code new developments and/or enhancements as defined in a technical design.
The technical skills my client requires will be good experience of HTML, Cobol, Salt, UNIX, SQL, Weblogic, XML, Relational Databases, Unit Integration Test.
