C# .NET Developer - Dublin, Ireland

Languages: ENGLISH only

Skills and Experience:

  • 3rd level qualification in information technology
  • Between 2-5 years of commercial experience
  • Strong knowledge of web Front End and Back End application development technologies including:
    • Microsoft .NET Framework, LINQ, Entity Framework
    • C#, ASP.NET, MVC
    • JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap
    • Webservices, RESTful, WCF, JSON, XML, XSLT, Web API
    • Relational Databases (SQL Server, Oracle etc.)
    • TFSOnline/Team Foundation Server or equivalent source control system
  • Practical knowledge of Source Control Management:
    • Branching
    • Tagging
    • Merging of different code streams
  • Experience with performance monitoring software and application enhancement techniques
  • Experience with the whole project life cycle, from specification through to testing
  • Experience working with end users to identify and resolve issues
  • Strong understanding of developing secure applications, compliant with OWASP guidelines
  • Skills and experience in the following is beneficial:
    • Experience with eCommerce solutions
    • Development of applications within the Azure environment
    • Experience of working directly with internal/external clients on projects
    • Exposure to the logistics/distribution environment and familiarity with industry standards and specifications
    • Exposure to Infor's M3 product suite an advantage

Description of work:

  • Development and design of web and desktop applications based on .NET technology
  • Contribute to a wide variety of internal projects and codebases
  • Participate in specification definition
  • Develop automated unit tests and responsibility for testing own code before QA Test Phases begin
  • Bug Fixing/Level 2 Application support
  • Interacting with customers (on specific items), on clients sites
  • Participate in Quality Improvement initiatives as required
