Infrastructure (Oracle) Technical Specialist 6 months Dublin.
My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Infrastructure (Oracle) Technical Specialist to join their group on a contract basis of 6-12 months.
My client in in need of a Infrastructure Technical Specialist to work as part of my client Technical implementation team to provide input into build plans for vendor solutions and work on an international programme. The specialist will need to successfully design, implement and test required infrastructure for the client. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a strong all-round capability across Oracle Databases, WebLogic, Java, Linux, VMWare and SSL.
Candidates will be able to Build/Configure and Provide functional expertise in the development of KPI/metrics used in Infrastructure and service management. You will also Provide functional expertise in the review of vendor build/configuration, tracking progress of infrastructure implementation against the stated requirements and design. You will also be seen as the Technical SME in configuration and deployment of Oracle WebLogic components, such as Oracle SOA/BEPL/B2B/OSB. You will Provide guidance to the client's internal infrastructure team on infrastructure designs. You will also have the ability to take technical lead in implementation of new infrastructure components ensuring build plans are executed accurately, adequate infrastructure testing is performed by service providers, assurance of good practices in build and configuration of core software and ownership of issues identified during build through to resolution. You will be abel to test your work and work with the Test Manager and Test Team to support the development of the technical Test Plan and Test Cases.
Essential Experience
5+ years of technical expertise in Linux, application Servers (Tomcat, WebLogic), web Servers (Apache) Oracle Database, networks, SAN, Load Balancers, VMWare, VPNs. You will have Coding and debugging experience in Java and SQL. This will include 3+ years of commercial experience of designing High Availability WebLogic solutions according to defined business requirements. You will have Experience of designing WebLogic Domain structures and WebLogic Security structures to ensure both resilience of solution, technical coherence and ongoing supportability. You will also have experience of implementing Oracle WebLogic components on Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, other).
