Cost Engineer/Cost Verification Consultant - Defence
A Cost Engineer with Weapons/Combat Systems programme experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Bristol.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK Defence company
Overview of the Cost Engineer contract role
Our client currently have numerous Weapon/Combat Systems projects, which need exceptional Cost professionals to review.
Key skills required for the Cost Engineer
- Experience of working on Complex Weapons Programmes
- Degree or relevant experience with demonstrable track record in a similar role
- APMP or similar qualification
- Excellent knowledge of project control techniques including earned value management
- Understanding and application of Risk and Opportunity Management
The role is based in Bristol - commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Cirencester, Swindon, Devizes, Trowbridge, Bath, Taunton, Bridgwater, Weston-Super-Mare, Newport and Cardiff
