Oracle DBA (Exclusive to Harvey Nash Ireland)
Our client a leading finance house is looking at expanding their DBA team. You will managing the Oracle databases and their Oracle forms and reports.
Day to Day tasks
- Cloning 10g & 11g Databases
- Setting up Oracle 11g Databases on Windows Server 2003
- Configure RMAN Bakups and testing RMAN recoveries
- Implementing Code Packs in their Test, Dev, UAT and Production environments
- Performance tuning (sar, top, prstat, OS Watcher, AWR, ADDM, etc.)
- Setting up Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g
- Documenting, Monitoring, Shell Scripting"
- May include weekend work
