*CASS Reconciliations Analyst, Tier 1 Custodian Bank- 3 months*

Asset Management Custodial Bank requires a competent CASS Reconciliations Analyst to join their Transfer Agency department in Canary Wharf, on an initial 3 month contract.

You will be working within the Reconciliation team, responsible for the daily reconciliation and checking of all Transfer Agency bank accounts including Operations, Distributions and Client Money accounts.

Responsibilities

  • To review and sign off the Operations, Distributions and Client Money Reconciliations.
  • Identify client money requirements
  • Day to day processing work, quality checks and assurance on the work from Bangalore
  • Work queue and email mailbox management/clearance.
  • Working closely with Bangalore office.
  • Ensure all reconciliation breaks are cleared in a timely manner
  • Identification and resolution of unclaimed distributions.
  • Assisting on the preparation of audit sampling requests.
  • Production of stats/KPI's as appropriate.
  • Assist on queries and liaise with other departments where necessary.
  • Assist in the continued process of TQM (total quality management).
  • To work with the Manager and Group projects area on any allocated Client projects.
  • Maintain relations with third parties - to include Client, internal relations with other departments and Auditors.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with other areas, such as Settlements and Management accounts and other internal areas such as the Relationship Managers.
  • Investigate and resolve enquiries and exceptions.
  • Makes recommendations to manager on procedure changes.
  • Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements.

Essential

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Management accounts, Settlements, Distributions and Technical
  • Demonstrate a detailed working knowledge of CASS Reconciliations and Client money regulations processes
  • Ability to review and resolve complex issues working under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Customer Service experience
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills with a flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Effective verbal reasoning and numeric skills (Essential)
  • Good keyboard skills to include MS Excel and ability to learn systems used within the business (Essential)
  • Experience in working with Multi Currency companies
  • Extensive knowledge of collective investment scheme administration and the regulatory environment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of cashbooks
  • Analytical skills are required to research and resolve enquiries
  • Knowledge and understanding of FCA/HMRC regulatory Environment

Experience

  • Financial Services/Banking
