SAS ANALYST - COLLECTIONS AND RECOVERIES - CHESTER - £365pd
My retail banking client is looking for an experienced SAS analyst who can use a range of analytical tools and data sources to supply the Senior Leadership Team with value-adding analysis providing insight into customer outcomes and Collections & Recoveries operational performance.
Whilst experience of working within a collections and recoveries environment would be ideal this is not mandatory as full training will be given as part of the role.
Skills

  • Development and Production of Conduct Risk Appetite Metrics along with analysing and reporting on trends Interpret operational performance and where appropriate recommend changes to positively impact performance ensuring the right outcomes are achieved for our customers.
  • Support the investigation and resolution of ad-hoc analysis requests through efficient SAS coding and a clear understanding of the Collections & Recoveries processes and data platforms.
  • Provide reporting and commentary that meets the needs of the business unit and where appropriate can be used to communicate to other areas of the Group.
  • Support Credit Operations on all projects from an analytical perspective and also influence the project so all Collections & Recoveries impacts are fully understood.
  • Assist in the interpretation of external market activities and where appropriate provide analytical support to ensure Credit Operations is prepared for any change in the economic or regulatory environments.
  • Provide technical support for the less experienced analysts in the team.
  • Provide support to your Line Manager and act as deputy when required.

Key skills/Knowledge Required

  • Experience of SAS programming.
  • Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of and experience using data sources and platforms.
  • Experience working in an analytical environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Be able to interpret data and present findings and recommendations to Senior Management.
