Network Engineer - Data Centre/CCNP/CCIE - Belgium
My client, a Global Telecoms Service Provider is currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer for a role based in Belgium.
As the Network Engineer, some of your responsibilities will include the following:
- Data Centre Design
- Ongoing Consultation
- Deliver regular reports on SW and HW in the Data Centre.
You will be on-site for 3 days per week with 2 days working remotely.
Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
- Cisco Routers (Models 1600, 1700, 2500, 2600, 2800, 2900, 3700, , 7200) as well as ASR-1000-X models
- Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 (Multi-layer) Switches (Models 2900, 3500, 3600, 3700, 4500, 6500, 6800)
- Cisco ASA (Models 5520, 5512, 5585-X, 5555-X) and Cisco Pix Firewalls (Model 506E)
- Cisco Site-to-Site VPN maintenance, design, troubleshooting and configuration
- Cisco Prime
- Palo Alto Firewalls and IPS
- DHCP Scope Creation, management, and troubleshooting
- Syslog analysis
- Cisco IOS and CatOS
- QoS (both COS and DSCP configuration, shaping and management)
- Wireshark
- DNS
- SNMP
- Routing Protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and Static Routing as well as redistribution and traffic control using route maps.
- ASR (1000 and 1000X series)
- Nexus (1000,2000, 5000, 7000, 9000 series)
- Expertise in NX-OS
English is the working language, but French is also desirable to have.
