Configuration Analyst- Release Management Team

Job Brief
Work on a large project and be the eyes and ears for the release Management team while delivering the requirements for the project. Support Client through coordination of various internal projects; as such, provide status updates, and drive key initiatives through completion and communication, release status updates and provide ongoing support in behalf of the release management team to the Project.
*Coordination inputs from DEV (SW deliverables), Coordination team(s) involved in SW preparation and deployment
*Managing and deployment of SW deliverables for projects/programs
*SW dependency management
*Managing operative technical issues and queries with SW installations
*Coordinating of SW going through various levels of test environments up to the production
*Work as an on-demand helper to the Project as the contact person for the Release Management team. Working on day to day operations, so leadership can focus on driving strategic initiatives.
*Understand and communicate to the project team, hands-on engineer to do configuration management deployments were required

Qualifications
*IT degree or equivalent
*experience in change/configuration management,
*Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
*Able to elicit cooperation, from a variety of resources
*Strong organisation and project management skills
*Able to work with the leadership team, to and work with appropriate teams on delivery
*Able to work with a diverse team, and adapt communication styles and content to appropriate audiences
*Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
*Effective communication skills, to mediate disputes and uncover hidden objections or concerns
*Able to anticipate and resolve problems before they happen
*Adaptable to a flexible process structure high growth environment where individuals sometimes serve in multiple roles
*Knowledge of project management techniques and tools ( eg Waterfall, SDLC, Agile)
*Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and verbal and written communications for technical and non-technical audiences

Technical Knowledge Requirements
*Knowledge and experience with versioning/code repository systems/tools - ex GIT, SVN, Serena
*Knowledge and experience with ticketing/issue tracking systems - ex JIRA
*Knowledge of a mixture of either Oracle Unix, Java, Oracle DB, mRemoteNG or Putty, KeePassX WinSCP or FileZilla, Dimensions - ticketing/FTP Serena - ticketing/FTP7zip, Linux 4,5,6,7, XML
*T24 - would be an advantage
*Batch Scripting
