Performance Engineer Italian Speaking
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Performance Engineer Italian Speaking.
The successful candidate will be a passionate about QA and have proficient and proven experience in performance testing. He/She will be brimming with enthusiasm and have brilliant ideas.
Day-to-day activities will include but are not only limited to:
Co-ordinate, develop, maintain and own all test activities
Review all performance test activities, eg write tests, test execution, collect metrics, create and manage testing schedules, report problems, report results, documentation etc.
Advise/Consult on performance practices and processes
Aptitude to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Passionate about quality delivery
Collaborator, happy to share ideas and vision
A keen interest in performance technology
Outgoing team player, able to contribute to team success
Performance tools; Gatling, JMeter, LoadRunner, loadUI
Database performance testing including distributed storage systems; Cassandra, MongoDB, SQL
Debugging/logging tools; Cassandra Query Profiling/Tracing, dynaTrace, Fiddler, log4j, MS SQL Profiler, MySQL Profiler, JMC, J-Console, Yourkit
Programming; Groovy, JAVA, SCALA
Continuous integration; Bamboo, Hudson, Jenkins
Distributed version control systems; GIT, Stash
Monitoring; Grafana, Graphite, Nagios, Sitescope
Protocol (Client Server Side); Ajax, Java, LDAP, ODBC, Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services
Servers; Apache, Tomcat

JVM performance monitoring and tuning
Continuous Delivery/Deployment
Ability to quantify performance bottlenecks spanning potentially multiple physical and logical components
Testing methodologies; Agile (BDD, ATDD, FDD,TDD)
Release and Regression performance testing
Defect management; JIRA
Desirable:
ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
Mocking and stubbing tools; EasyMock, Mockito, MockServer, WireMock
Cloud or as a service model; AWS, BlazeMeter, NeuStar, SOASTA
