UX, Design, Digital, UR - Contract UX Designer/User Researcher - Leeds, West Yorkshire
Contract UX Designer/User Researcher is required for an urgent and large scale project based in Leeds, West Yorkshire - commutable from Huddersfield, Manchester, York, Doncaster, Halifax, Wakefield, Harrogate, Wetherby, Stockport, Sheffield, Barnsley.
We require an experienced UX Designer and User Researcher with a proven background planning, developing and conducting user research for large scale digital solutions, using concept and prototype testing as well as guerrilla research. In addition to this you will have experience of UX and UI design including Front End and markup skills using HTML5 and CSS3 and styling using CSS, LESS and SASS.
You will possess;
- Proven and extensive User Research experience
- Experience of UX and user centred design
- Knowledge and experience of qualitative research methods (requirements gathering, Prototype testing, guerrilla research etc.)
- Experience of wireframing and creating visual comps
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Experience with User flows, experience maps & blueprints and user profiles
- Any experience working on GDS projects would be ideal although not essential
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills
