SAP Basis (BC) Technical Lead (DC Migration) - French Speaking - Guyancourt, France. Start: 2nd January Month+ Contract. END CLIENT.
Our end client in Guyancourt, France is looking for an SAP Basis (SAP BC) Technical Lead Consultant with experience with Data Centre Migration experience and understanding of Cloud (ie PaaS, IaaS, SaaS).
Position Description
The SAP Basis Consultant is responsible for the design and build of the SAP Basis Infrastructure (SAP Landscape Design and Management) including a migration of the SAP Basis system from the client's physical datacantre to a host Cloud-based environment. He/she has to be able to work in collaboration with our partner in charge of SAP Infrastructure (outsourced provider), in order to apply the SAP best practices for SAP systems maintenance; he/she has to work in collaboration with the SAP functional team, in order to cover all the basis requirements. He/she Must possess a strong sense of customer service to gather requirements and understand the business needs.
Job Description
Primary Objectives/Responsibilities
* Manage and Control as Basis administrator, the SAP landscape evolution and performance
* Plan SAP System refreshes/copy as required by project team
* SAP System monitoring (all components) on a daily basis
* Pilot database and client copies as needed by project and AMS team
* Manage the SAP Landscape technical evolution, according to the SAP Business Suite evolution
* Assist with Migration of SAP Platform to the Cloud
Essential Qualities/Skills
* Oracle DB senior expertise
* SAP Netweaver 7.X Certification and SAP Business Suite senior expertise
* SAP ECC, SAP SRM, SAP BI suite: Installs/Upgrades experience is required
* Database Administration of Oracle DB suite
* Database Refreshes
* System Monitoring
* Performance Tuning
* Good presentation skills with experience on workshops to facilitate continuous improvement in the implemented design and training.
* Good communication/team collaboration skills.
* DC migration expertise
* Understanding of Cloud (ie PaaS, IaaS, SaaS)
* Technical Architecture
* "As Is"/"To Be" Analysis - Existing architecture gap analysis feeding into target (Hybrid Cloud) architecture design (challenge Integration Partner on proposed architecture and sizing)
* Documentation of architecture and prepare best practice operating procedures.
* Technical Project Management experience nice to have
Candidates must be fluent in French with a good level of English.
