For one of our clients, Amoria Bond is looking for an Infra Chapter Lead Site Reliability to start a 1 year contract in Amsterdam. The Site reliability engineering teams are implemented in order to improve the reliability of the client. An SRE team is a multidisciplinary team that has the goal to constantly improve the reliability of the IT domain. The SRE team will act as a support team to different departments.
Our client is looking for a Chapter lead for this SRE team. Besides the role as Chapter lead, the candidate also needs to be a ('hands on') engineer within the team.
The SRE team will be responsible for the following:
Prevention of Incident Reoccurrence
Improving Incident Mitigation Capabilities
Follow up on improvement actions after high impact incidents (root cause)
Support in automation of the services (create consumable services)
Continuous Improvement of Continuous Delivery & Software Engineering Practices
Improve the MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) and MTBSF (Mean Time Between Service Failures) of service impacting incidents
Create and sustain excellent monitoring of chains
Profile:
The ideal candidate is a Chapter lead with a lot of experience in people managers. Next to this, the Chapter lead also needs to have hands on skills as a Dev Engineer in order to develop end to end infrastructure services for consumers. It is very importnat that the Chapter lead is willing to work a duel role: Chapter lead and 'hands on' Dev Engineer. You will coach a team of around 5-7 team members.

Key skills:
- Chapter lead
- Dev Engineer
- Master 1 programming languague (preferred Perl of Java)
- Experience as Software Engineer or Lead Engineer
- Experience in an Agile/scrum organization
- Knowledge of Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Experience with Linux and Window administration en troubleshooting
- Experience with automation of IT service
