Full Stack Developer - Plymouth
Our client requires a Full Stack Developer to be based Plymouth.
All applicants MUST possess the following experience:
- Full Stack Developer
- Python
- Flask
- ElasticSearch
- JavaScript
- Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques.
Willingness to work as a member of a cross functional agile team and follow the development principles.
The clients new knowledge management system will manage the large body of knowledge that our caseworkers use to make their day to day decisions. Except for the extensive use of hyperlinking the existing system emulates the paper based systems that preceded it and is based on long linear documents. This leads to a poor user experience (especially for new recruits) and wastes time in finding and assimilating information. It also makes it difficult to reuse knowledge content or to re-purpose it eg for training or context sensitive help. The aim is to use open source platforms to build a new system based around users needs and experience and digital delivery principles. This system will manage the knowledge content at a much more granular level and will be based around search technology. It will also provide extensive capture and analytical tools to allow the continuous improvement of the knowledge content.
