Description

The Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical design and implementation of modern and flexible solutions according to agreed timelines and budgets in order to support the core business processes of the Organization in line with the business needs and quality requirements.
He/she is responsible for building and optimizing the assigned applications on a cost efficient way to support the business processes and in line with functional and technical evolutions.

ROLE:
be responsible for the technical design and implementation of technical building blocks for SOA/ESB projects according to agreed timelines and budgets;
build cost optimized solutions to support the business processes and in line with functional and technical evolutions;
provide estimates about the time and efforts related to the design and the development of the solution;
translate the logical data and process model into a technical model;
design and develop end to end integration solutions using IBM Integration bus;
design and develop business processes in IBM BPM product;
review services and BPM processes implemented by third parties;
participate in enhancement of SOA governance and development process (eg development guidelines, standards and best practices);
participate in migration of services implemented in IIBV9 to IIBV10;
deliver technical analysis documents in order to enable the developers to build the solution according to the applicable standards;
participate to writing of test scenarios so that the test team is able to perform the proper testing

TASKS LIST

The Technical Analyst is responsible for the technical design and the development of proposed solutions with due regard to quality, cost and strategic vision of the application landscape of his Competence Center. He/she is able to present a good solution to the business needs. He/she ensures the qualitative handover to the run organization.

The Technical analyst will be able to cover the following activities:
Assess the technical feasibility of proposed solutions with due regard to quality, cost and the delivered strategic vision of the applications.
Deliver technical analysis documents in order to enable the developers to build the solution according to the applicable standards
Check and approve approach and code development. Both in project mode as in support mode.
Develop the applications according to code standards and code development process from our client.
Write and Execute Unit Tests of the code developed
Participate to writing and execution of test scenarios so that the test team is able to perform the proper testing.
Support users during the user acceptance testing in order to test and track down the cause of problems.
Take care of a qualitative hand-over to the run organization
Support the operations team once the project or deliverable are in run

Technical skills
hold a higher degree in Information Technology or related and have at least 5 years of relevant experience;
have advanced knowledge and experience in SOA architecture and design principles;
can look back on several years of hands on experience in developing SOA and BPM solutions, preferably from IBM (IIB, WSRR, BPM, BAM, Worklight )
o EAI and Middleware technologies (WebSphere MQ, MFT..)
o XML (XSLT, XPath ) & Web services (XML Schema, SOAP, WSDL, WS-*..)
have at least some programming experience in Java and working knowledge of Oracle Db's and Linux;

Soft skills
Good analytical skills & be able to produce solutions in accordance with the business requirements.
Hands on experience in drawing UML diagrams (Class, activity, sequence ) & BPMN in Enterprise Architect
Participate actively in integration tests with external parties
are business proficient in English and at least in Dutch or French;
are passionate about technical matters and you actively pursuing to grow your in-depth skills;
are able to work autonomously and in a stressful environment with changing priorities.
