SETTLEMENT ANALYST

CHESTER BUSINESS PARK, CHESTER

3 MONTH CONTRACT

Working hours 2pm - 10pm

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is looking for an Operations Analyst to work within the Global Foreign Exchange Operation based in Chester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be part of the continued growth of our business. Successful candidates will be required support both internal and external GFX clients, focusing on flawless delivery of day to day operations supporting a Global Institutional and Corporate client base. Associates are responsible for taking ownership to confirm and settle FX trades, with investigation of post-settlement discrepancies.

Key skills for a Settlement Analyst:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task under pressure
  • Analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong background in dealing with internal/external clients

Responsibilities of a Settlement Analyst:

  • Responsible for trade affirmation/confirmation and settlement for FX trades
  • Involved in the on-boarding of new Clients onto Platforms, and support of Clients through the on-boarding process
  • Responsible for investigating breaks across all correspondent accounts owned by Foreign Exchange
  • Daily liaison with the business, external clients and the trading desks with investigative queries
  • Responsible for carrying out Management reporting
  • Daily interaction with corporate clients in their queries
  • Work as part of a global team supporting both internal and external clients.
