A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Contracts Manager for Structure Execution. The Consultant will work as a contract manager, where their main task will be to manage claims and variations. The Contracts Manager must be prepared to travel to the clients other offices in Europe. This is full time freelance contract role, 5 days a week, 8hrs per day. Our client is looking for the Contracts Manager to commence this role from the beginning of January up until approx. 31st December 2017 with the possibility of extending further thereafter.Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiation of variations, claims and amendments.
- Drafting or contractual communication (instructions and notifications).
- Take part in the participation of internal and external project meetings.
- Stakeholder management.
- Management of commercial risks.
- Management of contractual milestones and commitments.
Knowledge and experience required:
- The Contract Manager will be required to have extensive experience as a Contract Manager with a strong knowledge of FIDIC.
- This is a Senior role and as such the Contract Manager needs to have the capacity to work in a very complex contractual setting.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years professional experience and can drive the project forward.
The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone & PC with MS Office software.
