Experienced ETL Developer required who has good working knowledge of Business Objects Data Services, Ideally with Data Analysis skills and experience of working with Oracle 9i/10
Role Description
Must have good working knowledge of Business Objects Data Services. Must have experience of working with Oracle 9i/10g. Ideal candidate will also have Data Analysis skills.
Participation in ETL design reviews. Participate in reviews of other development deliverables, providing support and expertise as required. Ensure a complete and coherent development is achieved within tight deadlines. Produce documentation to facilitate the on-going maintenance of Reports.
Transfer skills to in-house staff, where possible. Must have good verbal communication skills. Must have good formal documentation skills. Must have experience with relational databases including Oracle 9i/10g.Must be able to work off own initiative. Develop to departmental standards Crystal Reports for use on Enterprise reporting solution. Develop to departmental standards Web Intelligence reports for use on Enterprise reporting solution. Develop to departmental standards Universes to support Web Intelligence reports. User and group Administration management on Business Objects Enterprise. Server management for BOE cluster. Resolve report management issues. Report performance tuning. Upgrade experience from XIR2 to XIR3Work within the development team and with the analysts. Transfer of skills to in-house staff, where possible.
