Description
A blue chip Marketing business is looking for a talented Systems Accountant to deliver on a critical systems reconciliation project.
The role offers the opportunity to deliver a project with autonomy and work with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority across finance and other areas of the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Deep analysis of why the businesses sales ledger and finance ledger don't currently reconcile and how significant the discrepancy is.
- Deliver on a project to reconcile their finance ledger and sales ledger.
- Implement a system whereby there is less risk of the discrepancies occurring moving forward.
Personal and Professional competencies:
- Finance background, ideally a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Track record of managing and delivering projects.
- Significant experience of working with finance systems and driving systems process improvement, ideally with Oracle.
- Self-starter who is able to work with autonomy.
