Description
Our client, a Glasgow based financial services sector organisation, has asked us to source a Systems Management Technical Specialist (Remedy) for an initial 3 - 6 month day rate contract to work out of their Clydebank offices. The role will be based within the System Management Team that support infrastructure event monitoring & alerting, application performance management capabilities and the enterprise-wide ITSM toolset.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily administration and support of the ITSM Toolset analysing system, business and data processing issues & recommending improvements & solutions. You will manage the clients ITSM processes through innovation, continuous improvement and automation as well as collaborating with internal and external parties.
In order to be successful, you must demonstrate the following core skills:
*Practical experience supporting & administering BMC Remedy 8 (or above)
*Proven IT Service Management experience in requirements capture, design and configuration across: Incident Management; Problem Management; Change Management; Service Request Management
*Practical experience of CMDB Administration
*Technical experience and knowledge of:
oBMC Discovery (ADDM)
oSmart IT or MyIT Design and workflow concepts
oITSM Product Upgrades or migration
oSQL query
oMicrosoft Windows Server (2008, 2012)
oScripting Languages
