For our client in the R&D industry we are looking for a Scrum Master/Coach

Within Research & Development, the responsibilities and challenges of the Embedded software department focus on developing software for image processing, to control movements, drive mechanisms for error handling/recovery and maintenance procedures.

To expand the current team we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master/Coach

There is a double duty within this role:

  • Part of the assignment is performing the role of Scrum Master for an Embedded software development team (approximately 5 people). Goal is to increase the performance of Embedded software development in a multi disciplinary, software and (mechanical) hardware R&D environment.
  • The other is bringing in expertise into the current team of scrum masters. By introducing scrum in projects, realizing a fit between Scrum and the R&D development process and building up a vision and executing development improvements in the organization. A team of about 7 scrum masters is active within several different projects within R&D. By coaching this team the Scrum Master/Coach will take the team and the activities of the current scrum masters to a higher level.

Skills:

  • a MSc in Informatics
  • experience with transition to scrum
  • at least 5 years of work experience as scrum master within a multidisciplinary software and (mechanical) hardware R&D environment
  • experience in coaching
  • profound knowledge - verbal and written - of English
  • permission to work in the Netherlands, and able to provide, if requested, a certificate of conduct

  • ability to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team
  • being the first to notice differences and issues and elevate them to management
