Pricing Analyst - Yorkshire - SAS (Base/EG), SQL, Pricing, Statistical Modelling

I'm currently working with a well known Financial Services client on a major project.
Your objective will be to provide analytic support to the decision science team through statistical analysis and applying statistical models and recommend the best course of action that would drive maximum profitability.
You will be expected to carry out statistical analysis via SAS and create statistical models and to present your findings to senior internal stakeholders with the purpose of forecasting the best portfolios for the business.
The following skills are essential:
1. Advanced knowledge and experience with SAS (Base, EG, EM)
2. Experience building statistical models (Regression, Time-series)
3. 2 - 3 years financial services experience
4. BSc in a statistical or quantitative subject
The following skills are desirable but not essential:
1. Previous experience with scoring, valuation, pricing.
2. A track record of working within Financial Services.
An initial 6 month role with a likelihood of extension.
