Description
For our global client in the Netherlands we are looking for a Windows File Server engineer who has the responsibility to set-up, manage and maintain one or more (complex) system environments. Within ITI, the Engineering handles only problems which require specialized (non-standard, 3rd line) knowledge. As the successful Windows File Server engineer you will advise on the use of the infrastructure and be responsible for the development of product and architectural roadmaps for a single area or product. You will lead small implementation projects, advise on selection of applications and/or hardware and provide 3rd line support ensuring optimized process flow and automation where possible.
Characteristics you will need:
- Knowledge of Windows server environments.
- Knowledge of DFS-N and DFS-R.
- Knowledge of Backup and Restore facilities.
- Knowledge of Enterprise server hardware.
- Good documentation skills.
- Experience in process optimisation and automation.
- Knowledge of Scripting technologies as PowerShell.
