User Experience (UX) Lead - Digital and Consumer Products (London and some remote working)
12 months contract
A leading blue chip company are currently hiring for a User Experience (UX) Lead to work on a long term 12 month project. You will be working with a large talented team of developers, product owners, testers, BAs...This role will be a 12 month contract; London based but with the opportunity for remote working a couple of days per week.
As a User Experience (UX) Lead you will be placing the customer first and be working at the forefront of digital best practice. This is the only role of its type within the organisation and as such your work will make an impact across this large company, allowing you to make your mark and have an excellent project to add to your portfolio.
As a User Experience (UX) Lead you will be shaping user experiences for world class digital products; shaping products and playing and important role in client digital experiences, you will be working on business to business to consumer and business to consumer products.
Key elements of the User Experience (UX) Lead role include:
- Leading on projects and best practice (not line managing)
- Working closely with the Head of Visual and Product team
- Working on Web products and subsequently native apps
- Working on an exciting portfolio of products
- Integration and visualisation work
- Being creative but within broader frameworks/guidelines
- Whiteboarding, redesigning working collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Using Kanban methodologies and SCRUM
- Using Adobe Creative Suite (CS)
Key User Experience (UX) Lead experience required includes:
- Superb UX experience - theoretical, experiential, web/native, code issues from a creative perspective
- Demonstratable portfolio of projects
- Superb creativity accompanies by superb attention to detail
- Well versed in Agile techniques
- Independent SME but also a strong team player
- Financial Services, Ecommerce, Consumer or Ecommerce background
- Adobe Creative Suite (CS) expert
- Seasoned SME able to hit the ground running
Desirable User Experience (UX) Lead experience includes:
- Prototyping
