Description
A leading Renewable Energy client is looking for a Construction Supervisor to work on their off shore wind farm project. This freelance contract role will be for approx. 12 months starting 1st February 2017 there maybe an opportunity to extend further thereafter, Monday to Friday up to 10 hrs per day. The Construction Supervisor will be required to supervise and inspect civil construction activities and site records.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise and report to affected Project Managers on all aspects of quality as required.
- To monitor, record the Quality of the works according to the clients/designer requirements, Quality plan, Method statements etc, inspect witness and verify, checks and tests of structures & foundations.
- Review of design, construction and workshop drawings, final documentation and as-built, lifetime records as required.
- Support the Construction Manager in arranging, witnessing and participating in all meetings, FATS, SATS when required.
- Assist and contribute to the identification of specific deliverables as required in the project documentation.
- Final acceptance inspections for handover of the whole works or part thereafter complete documentation and input to Field Observation reports (ongoing snag list).
- Review on and ensuring administration of all quality control & inspection activities.
Qualifications/Essential skill:
- BSc or Technician within Civil engineering/Civil works.
- Minimum 3-5 years. of relevant work experience within onshore construction works and quality disciplines.
- Must be technically strong, adaptable, can work well in a team, have good communication skills both written and verbally.
