SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - CONTRACT - DUBLIN
You will be responsible for new innovative application development including estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and code debugging and you will have the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and Agile environment and will assume a key role for various new solutions within the clients Car/Ride Sharing booking solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Quickly design and develop new code
- Estimate, and design for small increments of work
- Perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and quick prototypes
- Commit to completing well-defined work and deliver on those commitments
- Report status of assigned software development and/or related tasks
- Consistently follow the specified software development methodology
- Promote improvements in programming practices such as acceptance test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile teams that have delivered software while practicing code review
- Strong understanding of REST/RPC API architecture
- Proven experience as a full stack developer utilizing multiple programming languages: PHP, Java, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
- Proven experience on writing high quality code supported by UNIT testing
- Proven experience on at least one source code version control system
- Proven experience on at least one industry-recognized DB technologies
- Proven experience on Server Side troubleshooting and debugging
- 4+ years Application development utilizing industry standard design patterns
- Experience on Enterprise Application Deployment
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field, or, equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years leveraging Microservices and Continuous Integration and Delivery
- 2+ years utilizing cloud technologies and capabilities
- 4+ years REST/RPC Web API driven development
- 4+ years as a full stack developer utilizing multiple programming languages PHP, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
RATE: €600 per day
LOCATION: Dublin, Ireland
DURATION: 3-month rolling
