IT Systems Engineer - Defence
An IT Systems Engineer with Defence experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 6 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the IT Systems Engineer contract role
You will be required to produce management reporting information in a variety of forms from data held in SAP, routinely & adhoc, as well as update and analyse financial validation data in Excel, Coordinate and track Funding Application documentation.
Key skills required for the IT Systems Engineer
- SAP (Essential)/BI/PIAB/SharePoint (Desirable)/Excel (Essential)/LANDesk (Desirable).
- Have a good understanding of Financial periods/years, WBS & overhead codes & the difference between Capita & Revenue.
- Maintainance of tracking spreadsheets and analysis of financial data.
- Experience of raising & tracking Supplier Purchase Requisitions/Invoices in SAP.
- Experience of producing accurate and articulate management information & reports.
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
