Description

The E-commerce Content specialist will sit within the Product Information Management (PIM) team of my client's leading global organisation based in Bracknell. The team and this individual is focused on working with data as a key business asset, managing all digital assets associated with our products, ensuring that the data is accurate and available for multiple output uses. You will be integral in delivering a key business support function in enabling the facilitation of digitised product data onto centralised systems and create multiple format outputs. The ideal candidates will have worked in a product data management roles and have experience in the application, manipulation and management of data as a critical asset.

Key Responsibilities;

*Maintain product data, working in conjunction with the content owners to ensure accurate data is captured within corporate systems, post launch changes, for use in linked systems/outputs.
*Collaborate with relevant teams around the business (IT, PIM/Data Governance, Marketing, Technical, etc.) to ensure continued improvement of data quality, availability and consistency across all outputs - web, print & data syndication.
*Conduct analysis on marketing data (across multiple product ranges, systems and sources), consider potential options/solutions to data issues/inconsistencies and make recommendations to enhance data provision.
*Product Information Management of all products through the product life cycle, following business processes
*Manage loading/testing of acquired data in the corporate PIM systems and create and maintain accurate product hierarchies in overall product information process.
*Identify and deliver data requirements for a range of outputs including websites and data syndication.

Key Skills and Requirements;

*Proficient user of PC technology is essential including MS Office packages
*Proficient Excel skills including management and manipulation of data using a range of key excel formulas and functions
*Experience working with product data management
*Experience in Hybris and Celum databases or similar is a plus but not essential
*Able to prioritise tasks and with an ability to work autonomously
*Problem solving & questioning skills
*Team player with interpersonal and networking skills
