Description
T4S Solutions are sourcing for a Senior Data Architect to join one of the largest banks in Scandinavia. You will be responsible for the overall end-to-end data warehousing architecture, from tools to Middleware to data quality to orchestration software.
You will have the following:
> An understanding of Client Server, Web-based, and Server Side computing architectures
> A firm understanding of database optimization concepts for tuning data access queries
> Understanding of newer technologies for Big Data, Enterprise Data Hub and track of record of successfully implementing and integrating Enterprise Data applications and Data Analytics
> Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, and MapReduce experience
>Strong Java experience- familiarity with other programming languages (Python, C, C++, etc.)
> Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, relational database design and methods
> Experience building complex and non-interactive systems (batch, distributed, etc.)
> Experience with Avro, Thrift, Protobufs
> JMS: ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, JBoss, etc.
> Dynamic and/or functional languages (Python, Ruby, Scala, Clojure, etc.)
> Linux expertise
> Building statistical models with tools such as R, Python, Weka, MATLAB, SAS, SPSS, etc.
> Exploring, manipulating, and visualizing data in big data to find new patterns and signals
> Familiarity with high dimensionality data, dimensionality reduction, or feature extraction
> Skills in digging through data sources to see what's really there
> Background which includes mathematics, statistics, machine learning and data mining
> Experience building complex and non-interactive systems (batch, distributed, etc.)
> Experience with operational and business-level metadata management
> Prior work/research experience with unstructured data and Datamodelling
Requirements:
> 8+ years of experience with IT Architecture,
> 3+ years as IT Architect
