I am currently recruiting for a Sr. Technical analyst/developer for Accounts & Savings team. Cobol technology for a 6 months contract renewable in Brussels.
Job description
- Translating functional analysis and requirements into technical analysis and developments together with the parties involved
- Providing and updating technical documentation
- Giving support: planning estimations of workload, costs, timelines and technical risks
- Advising, appraisal and code review
- Pooling and sharing of knowledge on applications used
- Supports in the maintenance of applications
- Provides third-line support and independently performs problem analysis.
- Interacts with third party to ensure the delivery of high quality developments and solutions
Mandatory Skills
It s a position in which you deliver technical specifications and designs, and in which you program high quality IT applications, in order meet the needs of your business partners You must have:

- well organized: you work out detailed action plans how to reach your goal, taking into
- account the constraints and priorities

- a strong communicator, able to present concepts and data in a structured way
assertive but diplomatically
And you have as well:
- Interacts with third party to ensure the delivery of high quality developments and solutions
- a university degree or a bachelor in information technology or similar level based on experience.
- 7 years of work experience in Cobol IT environment.
- Considerable knowledge of analysis and modelling tools, different platforms, methodologies,
- Programming languages, processes or architectures used within Cobol context.
- specific knowledge of banking processes and Payments products.
- Fluency in French and/or Dutch and have a good knowledge of English.
- a strong interest in Continuous Deployment and Agile/SCRUM and/or experience as Scrum Master is an asset.
