Description
A Renewable Energy client is looking for x2 Consultants to work as Client Representatives (Array Cables Survey) for their offshore wind farm project. Our client will be looking for one of the Client representatives to start this role from 20th February 2017 up until approx. 30th June 2017 with the possibility to extend further thereafter. Shift pattern: 12hrs a day, 7 days a week, two weeks on/two week off.Responsibilities:
- To maintain accurate records of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase.
- Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor.
- Proactively manage safety and quality.
Task:
- Take part in preparing the clients daily progress report (DPR).
- To prepare and distribute daily progress report (DPR) when required.
- Ensure that the daily progress reports are signed by all required parties.
- Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- To attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
- During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
- To take part in weekly safety walks with the HSE representative from the client and contractor organisation.
Qualifications:
Must have all valid GWO certificates
- Sea Survival.
- Working at Heights.
- First Aid.
- Fire Awareness.
- Manual Handling.
- HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS).
- Medical Certificates.
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
Recommended:
- LOLER, CDM managing safely.
- Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience - Client Reps with Survey experience would be preferred.
- IT proficient (MS WORD, EXCEL and INTERNET) Synerg.
Special Provision:
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and a iPhone mobile telephone.
